Making a Difference

One Sandwich at a Time

Milio’s Sandwiches believes businesses, as well as individuals, are responsible for the well-being of our communities. We live to deliver the best sandwich and serve our community. It is our mission to serve and support where we live, work, and play – while giving back to the community in meaningful ways. Being a good citizen is just a part of our DNA. Milio’s wants to contribute to every community we are in and we’re happy to participate in non-profit community events, fundraisers, and anything else that might be happening in your SUBurb or SUBdivision (see what we did there?). The first step in this awesome partnership is to fill out a Fundraiser Request form.

Local Matters

We support communities that support us.

Support. It’s a simple but powerful idea. When you order from any Milio’s Sandwiches in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, Milio’s and its franchise partners will donate a portion of sales to a local community organization making a significant impact on our families and neighborhoods.

We call it “Local Matters” …because we believe in supporting the communities that support us. And because there are local matters that could use some extra love.

The local causes will change every so often, but “Local Matters” is not a limited-time promotion. It is endless, permanent, and an integral piece of Milio’s DNA.

There are two really important reasons why “Local Matters” is so dear to us. First – and let’s be real here – you have a lot of big, national companies where you can get a sandwich, and we genuinely appreciate it when you choose to spend your hard-earned dollars with a local company like Milio’s.

Second, the pandemic has been, if we’re being candid, not very good for business. But local organizations and our customers made it a point to support us, to help us through, and to allow us to do what we love.  Waunakee, Wisconsin franchisee Scott Mooney, who was the inspiration behind the “Local Matters” campaign, sums it up beautifully: “When everything came to a grinding stop last Spring, customers, companies, and local organizations really stepped up to help us out.  One of those was the Waunakee Public Library, to which we had recently donated. They came to us and said, ‘Here, take this money back. We know you guys are going through a lot.’” There are a lot of organizations in our communities just like this.

On behalf of 200+ Milio’s employees who rely on your loyalty, thank you in advance for helping us stay focused on local matters.
